Sally GBCONS Symposium 2/11/2012 (1/18/12)
In an effort to provide CE's to members, spotlight our members, and collaborate with other professional organizations, GBCONS is co-sponsoring the GBCONS Symposium 2012 with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Maryland Chapter.
This joint venture will allow attendees to receive up to 4 CE's. The 4 CE's are being provided utilizing 2 CE applications and approvals.
The first unit will be Spotlight on Our Members and the second will be supplied by LLS.
The normal GBCONS meeting fee will apply to the Spotlight on Our Members portion of the symposium. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is providing Myeloma Today free of charge.
Please register for this event using the form on the bottom of the GBCONS flyer. If you are registering for the Myeloma Today presentation alone, please indicate that on the form.
We hope to see you at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center on Feb. 11, 2012.

Attention Sally Brown
Thank you Dinner meetings- RSVP and payment (2/13/08)
Approximately 3 years ago, the chapter rented a post office box. This allows chapter mail to be sent to one location instead of chapter board of directors' and Program Committee members' homes. While providing one mailing address, it means that someone must pick up the mail.
The need to pick up mail at the PO box is taken into consideration when the deadline to respond is established. Most date specific chapter mail uses postmarked by; not received by. The PO box is checked 2 or 3 business days after the postmark date to allow mail to reach the PO box in Rosedale. Another pick is made closer to the meeting day.
Occasionally, the response does not get to the PO box before the meeting. This may be a delay in the mail or the response was mailed late. This means that the response and payment have not reached the program committee prior to the meeting. If this happens, when you sign in at the meeting, the Program Committee will ask you to pay the fee at that time. When the RSVP and payment is received, one of your payments will be returned to you.
If you realize that you have missed the response deadline, don't mail the response slip and payment, please contact me at 443-777-7962 or sally.brown@medstar.net. I will contact the Program Committee. This will enable the committee to provide the meeting facility with an accurate attendance number.
